Codfish & Garlic dip
Ingredients:
For the codfish
- 2 sheets of salted cod
- olive oil for frying
- a little flour for breading
For the batter
- 200 g flour
- 2 tbsp
- sharp baking powder
- 330 ml ice cold beer
- Salt
- Sugar
For the garlic dip
- 6 potatoes
- 4 cloves garlic
- Juice of half a lemon
- 3 tbsp vinegar
- 1 ½ cup olive oil
- salt
- fresh onion
Εxecution:
Desalt and drain the cod and pass it through kitchen paper to remove the moisture.
Make the batter and put in the cod that we have floured.
Fry in a deep pan until golden brown on both sides.
Place the cod on absorbent paper towels.
In a saucepan, boil the potatoes, cut and cleaned in salt.
Take them out in a colander and then dissolve them with a fork.
Add the olive oil, garlic, vinegar, salt and pepper to the mixer.
Once the garlic is dissolved, put the mixture in the potatoes.
Try if you need something and serve with spring onion.
